went in for lunch today First time. food was good service from Kelley was excellent will return.

I am a local and I go here all the time. Very friendly staff, and never had a bad dish served to me at this location.

Straight up, no surprises Mexican with a very big, very diverse menu. The food was quick and tasty and the prices are great - my wife and I can eat in here for less than $20 for the two of us and walk out stuffed to the gills. Nothing fancy or special, just good food at a good price.

It's a good restaurant, clean, and good service. The food doesn't seem to be what is used to be though. This was my favorite place in town. The cheese dip tastes pre made now though, they changed something and it's just not as good. Salsa is still good though.

We were looking forward to Mexican food today but after being seated and then ignored we just left. Guess we will mark this restraunt off our go to list.

Have been going here for years. The food is always great!

Service was awful. Had to stop other servers to ask for things because our server would keep forgetting. Food wasn’t much better. DON’T get the queso or anything with queso on it. It looks like white water. Not thick at all. Chicken tastes canned and everything was super greasy. Beef tacos weren’t that great either. Tastes like the tacos at Burger King. We were visiting from out of town, but definitely do not recommend this place.

It looks as though they have updated their menu. New selections and the ability to change some items. The best part is the wait staff is very attentive.

We visit this place often. Love the food. The service is great. The manager is awesome.

I have eaten here since I was a child, and normally the service is fantastic, but tonight it was awful. We had a party of 19, they knew we were coming ,we had one waitress ,no ones drinks were right. Food was forgotten, drinks were not kept even partially full,salsa bowls were constantly empty. We never recieved menus until we asked 3 times. We were there for 45 minutes before drinks were served and almost 2 hours before food arrived.

Disappointing...I ordered a to-go order of steak and cheese tacos. When I got home only 7 minutes later it was cold..the flour tortillas were all slimy. There was also a pathetic amount of steak in the "tacos". The chips were old and stale. The "salsa" was tasteless and cold. Go to the other mexican restaurant in town near the square.

Great food and friendly servers. A great environment to eat and enjoy time out with my family.

Got an order to go and the cheese dip and salsa has been watered down too thin and lost flavor. Noticed the same issue before. Service and QUALITY are not anything to cut back on to save money. Service is okay, they are short handed and very slow to answer the phone, but to water down and cut quality of food or sauces is bad practice. No comparison to the restaurant in Hiawassee! Come on Monte Alban step it up so we can enjoy the great food I know you can produce in Blairsville!

Overall pretty good food. Servers did great too. The food was just pretty good though, not fantastic. However it was during a hectic sunday rush so they did great for what many other restaurants find very difficult. 👍

Do not waste your time..ate here before and was impressed..no help and order was incorrect and not tasty

The best Mexican restaurant in Blairsville...one of the best in Georgia!

I didn't hate it but it's not my favorite kind of food. I went with family. There was no holiday atmosphere, it's pricey and communication with the waiter was a little difficult. Just not my cup of tea.

A good Mexican Restaurant with excellent service, delicious food, reasonable prices.Their Burritos (Mexican Wraps) are really good.Good to be back, we had lunch with friends & for starters as appetizer we order Chorizo Cheese Dip ($6.25) that comes with their Chips. 1 Lunch Fajita Chicken ($7.99) 1 Lunch Fajita Chicken splitting plates ($7.99)1 Burrito Monte Albán Grilled Chicken ($9.49) & for last Fried Ice Cream ($3.99).Service was excellent, food delicious & time spend with friends Priceless :-)

I didn't find anything to write home about, I've had better, I may have enjoyed it more had it been hot but the service was pitiful. The server didn't return to check on us until we finally asked another server for our bill. Sad when I think about it, maybe I'm being too nice with my 3*.

Some of the best Mexican food you will ever eat. And the owner and staff are amazing

Good authentic Mexican food at a good price. The service isn't all that but sometimes you can get the servers attention and get a drink refill or dessert. A mid-sized restaurant with typical "Mexican " decorations and pictures so you might guess it is a Mexican restaurant if someone led you in blindfolded. The servers dress in North American clothing as opposed to Mexican/Hispanic garb which would really add to the ambience. There are other Mexican restaurants in town and I look forward to trying them, but I have enjoyed my three trips to Monte Alban and will return.

Here for the weekend and wanted Mexican ended up here because of reviews and glad we did. It was Joshua’s first day and you would’ve never known. He was great! Beef and margaritas were on point!

Great food great service

Everybody enjoyed their meal and our waiter was awesome.

Got seated and set there and set there. No one bothered to take our orders. The waitresses just kelp on walking past us and the place was not that busy.

Totally lousy nachos. Won't try anything else there!

Can't believe I haven't yet reviewed Monte Alban... I'm a Blairsville native and I've been coming here for decades. Married an Army soldier and we lived all over the world for almost ten years and then moved home a couple years ago and it's back to my favorite place for a meal in town as if I never left. The manager is just awesome and goes above and beyond to make sure your experience is great. The waiters are attentive and polite. The food is ALWAYS hot and fresh and comes out quickly. The chicken soup is the best I've ever eaten... Loaded with shredded chicken, rice, avocadoes, and cilantro. I order food to go frequently and it's always ready in a few minutes and they've never once messed up my order. Big portions, fair prices. Can't go wrong!

They'll never match the quality of pueblos in dahlonega, but it's the better of the two Mexican places in Blairsville. Service is usually decent, today it was pretty good. The gentleman that was taking care of our table was new and he was kind to my son who has a learning disability, he was also really quick when my toddler decided to spill his milk. Another employee swung by to give us a bag after asking if we needed one. We appreciated the service today big time. Thank you guys.

Easily the best traditional Mexican food in blairsville, the staff is always nice and or quick, even when the restaurant is packed. In a town with few meal options, they definitely make up for a lot!
